Dear Class of 1975,
It’s incredible to think that 50 years have passed since we walked the newscampus as undergrads. While time has created distance between then and now, we know that some things never change, like the values and everlasting bond all alumni share. After all, Once a Stag, ALWAYS a Stag.
5 years ago, our Reunion year was impacted by unpredictable events and with that in mind, we are doubly excited to reunite with our classmates at our upcoming Reunion, June 6-8, 2025. We hope you’ll join us for an unforgettable weekend of reminiscing, reconnecting, and making new memories to carry us the next 5 years…together!
Speaking of reminiscing, just a short walk down memory lane had us thinking about; the “Mac Mass”, the launch of the daily Campus Crier our junior year, “traying” down the Bellarmine hill after a snowstorm, and 50 cent beers at the Naut.
We’ve always cherished the friendships and memories that made our newsexperience evenmore special. As we come together for our Reunion, we know that these memories will serve as the foundations to create new memories and traditions – for us and for those who come after us. Our goal, to truly honor our Reunion year, is to come back to campus and give back - by making a class gift together.
Our goal is to raise $150,000 for newsthis year with $29,500 being earmarked for the newsFund – which provides flexible support to the areas and people on campus that need it most. Your contribution, of any size and to any area, will have a lasting impact on current students and their own newsexperience, which meant so much to us.
There are two fundraising challenges organized by your class:
Women's 50th Challenge: Help us complete the $50,000 challenge in honor of 50 years of Women's Athletics! Thank you Diane Oakley '75 for matching $1 for $1 raised up to $50,000 to help us meet our goal! And, thank you to Joe Linnehan '75 for sponsoring a STAGiving Day challenge to raise $25,000 to support newsBasketball (men's and women's).
